Merseyside Children's Holiday Fund

INTRODUCTION

The Merseyside Children’s Holiday Fund was set up in 1967 to take disadvantaged children from the Liverpool area to Colomendy.

Colomendy is set within an area of outstanding beauty, about 35 miles from Liverpool,  and is owned by Liverpool City Council.

The Organisation, becoming a formal Charity in 1990, is run by volunteers, and has taken Children, now chosen by local schools, every year, in the middle of the stressful, Summer holidays, to Colomendy, except for 2020, due to Covid.
