By local schools. The children must be on free school meals and both need and deserve a holiday.

They sleep in a room with 4/5 other children. We split the children into 4 groups, age and gender appropriate.

There is a staff member in the room next to each bedroom.

All staff have enhanced DBS checks, renewed every 5 years.

No, except they are asked to bring pocket money, currently £12, which is given to the children during the week.

Various activities, age appropriate. They have great fun.

We have plenty of staff who are very experienced in taking children away. We reassure them, but if necessary, we will contact home.

Our experience shows that it is more upsetting for the children to speak with family. We comfort and reassure them but If it was very important, then yes we would get in touch. You can ring Ray during the week and ask how your child is doing.
